eBooks & Audiobooks

Jericho Town Library is a member of the Green Mountain Library Consortium and provides access to thousands of downloadable eBooks and audiobooks on the GMLC's Overdrive website. You can browse available titles, place holds on items you want to receive later, and read or listen to books right on your Internet browser. For on-the-go reading, Overdrive's mobile app, Libby, provides access to the same collection of titles as the GMLC website. Libby is available in both Apple and Google stores.

To access your account, your default username and password are the same as your credentials for our online catalog. Your username is the barcode number printed on the back of your library card (include punctuation); your password is your last name (all lowercase). Just give us a shout if you need help!

LearningExpress Test Prep

Every Vermonter has free access to EBSCO's LearningExpress thanks to the VT Department of Libraries. LearningExpress is an online test prep center that provides practice and review help for dozens of different tests at all stages of life, including the ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, and US Citizenship test. 
Included is access to the Computer Skills Center, where you can learn all the fundamentals of computer use, and the Job & Career Accelerator, a platform for job seekers to explore occupations, search for openings, and create a winning application. You will need to register as a new user the first time you access LearningExpress, but you do not need a library card barcode number to log in.

Vermont Online Library

The Vermont Online Library offers access to databases covering many topics and geared to a variety of age levels, for both generalists and specialists. The information is produced by known and trusted publishers and includes Gale Cengage Learning databases and Universal Class online learning. You will need the barcode number on the back of your Jericho Town Library card to log in.
